Purpose and participation
Supported work and volunteer opportunities can provide routine, contribution, and pride.
A flexible, disciplined approach focused on meaningful impact for Texans living with profound autism.

Potential assistance may include emergency gaps, respite, adaptive equipment, communication tools, specialized medical or dental needs, transportation, legal needs, or camp scholarships.
When another provider is better equipped to help, we may point applicants toward public programs, professionals, nonprofits, benefits, or community resources.
We may support eligible organizations, group homes, camps, churches, hospitals, training programs, or initiatives that directly improve safety, care, belonging, and quality of life.
Requests are not approved simply because they are worthy. We consider whether the request aligns with our mission, addresses a meaningful gap, has a reasonable budget, benefits eligible Texans with profound autism, and represents a responsible use of limited charitable resources.

Supported work and volunteer opportunities can provide routine, contribution, and pride.

People with profound autism can participate in service when tasks and support are matched to the person.

Welcoming congregations can reduce isolation and create lasting community connections.

Planning, trusted relationships, and reliable support can replace some fear with peace of mind.
